According to the analysis report on the market prospect and investment strategic planning of China's LED lighting industry in 2015-2020 provided by prospective industry research institute, the total value of Guangdong's LED industry in 2014 was 346.06 billion yuan, an increase of 23.9% over 2013. 

Although most companies are profitable, only three companies have a profit margin of more than 50%. The industry is developing slowly, and the industry is worried about this. However, with the concept of environmental protection deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, the traditional energy-saving lamp and incandescent lamp market will be further limited, and China's SMD LED lighting industry is expected to usher in new development opportunities. 

From the perspective of avoiding homogeneous competition, the SMD LED lighting industry in the new era in 2015 will have the following areas of development. The first is intelligent lighting. At present, the general audience of lighting products is 80 or 90 years old young people, who are deeply influenced by the Internet and pay attention to intelligent experience, which provides development space for LED intelligent lighting. Next is OLED lighting. 

As a lighting source, it is closest to the white light in the sunlight, but it does not contain purple light and infrared light, which has a great advantage in the protection of human eyes and cultural relics. However, in view of the slightly higher cost and price of OLED lighting products, it is most likely to appear in special markets and high-end lighting fields. As the technology matures and the cost is reduced, OLED lighting products will rise in the mass market. 

Finally, the car LED Lights. Under the policy of white restriction, automotive lighting has become a new blue ocean in the field of LED lighting, and the powerful automotive aftermarket also makes LED lighting products have enough market space. 

Moreover, with the improvement of people's economic level, low-cost and low equipped cars are difficult to meet people's consumption demand. In the future, improving the level of domestic cars' accessories will also drive the development of LED lights.
