When we use the bottom pad, 3014 SMD LED will be top view LED, which means the light will be emitted from straight up of SMD LED. And when we solder the LED with the side pad, the light will emits parallel to PCB. 365Nm LED or 370nm LED are widely used in sterilizer and water purification.
