What us the Difference Between a 3528 SMD LED 5050 SMD LED and 5730 SMD LED?

At first, lets tale about the these 3 number means. 3528 SMD LED , 5050 SMD LED and 5730 SMD LED are the most commonly used furface mount diodes for flex strip lighting. As you can see in the picture, For 3528 SMD LED and 5730 SMD LED. There are all have two pins for current and there have 6 pins for 5050 SMD LED. Then there will have just 1 single chip in 3528 LED and 5730 LED inside. For 5050 LED, there will got three chips inside for emitting.

They are traditionally used in mono-lights or RGB LED strip lighting(flex LED strip or hard LED strip). If your project, just required 0.2W or 0.1W output, 3528 LED will be a better SMD LED for your lighting.
