The size is 2.8*3.5*0.8mm, which are the same with the 2835 SMD LED. 2835 SMD photodiode have a heat sink on the bottom of the LED. So that for this SMD receiver, you don't have to worry about the heat problem. The heat sink will dispatch the heat on time and make sure the IR receiver's performance.
