The lens can be as clear or deep blue clear lens. For those Through-hole LED, different shapes will give these infrared LEDs different advantages, such as: 3mm through-hole LEDs have a small size, which makes this LED easy to fit with any type of small PCB board. 5mm through-hole LED shape will make these infrared LEDs have longer radiation distances, and 8 mm or 10 mm through-hole LEDs will give infrared LEDs a larger area of radiation. You can choose any of them to design.
