Product Description

These 940nm 5mm LED are available to be operated and 28-35mw/sr at 80mA. In order to adapt to different working voltages, there will have a current limiting resistor in the circuit.

There have two kinds of type for the IR LED : Direct-injection type and Reflection-type.

Former type meas the emitter IR LED and the IR Receiver at the side of product and there will have a distance between these sender/receive pair, then the emitter can will transmit signal and the IR Receiver can receive it. The after type means emitter IR LED and the IR Receiver stand side by side, the IR Receiver only work when the IR LED's emitting single is refracted back and received by IR Receiver. This reflection-type can improve the transmitting power and the emitting distance.
