880nm LED is not a common and popular IR LED as 940nm LED and 850nm LED, but 880nm, 890nm do can be a important role in infrared LED therapy for pain relief with safe, effective easy, aids healing and chronic pain. 880nm LED bare die can be packaged with different case as your requirement. For these IR LED, 3104IRBT-88L/12I60-60AG , we packaged with light blue epoxy lens and have 60 degree viewing angle. For 880nm LED (±10nm), you can see a dim red spot when it working at deep dark area. Compare with 940nm, it have a brighter emitting red spot, but compare with the 660Nm LED or 625nm LED , the brightness of 880nm LED is extremely dim. Compare with 940nm infrared led, you can see much brighter red spot when 880nm LED is working even 880nm LED just have a dim red spot in the dark. For all of the infrared LED, if you got more red brightness when the IR LED is working, which means you will got more longer radiation distance.
